1, How to Scan and Remove?
Select a mode to perform scan. Note: After running a scan, please check ALL threats before clicking Remove button. You can right click on any found object to perform the following actions: Add to Ignore, Go to the Entry, Save a Report, Report False Positive, and More Information.
Add to Ignore: This action will add the selected item to Ignore List.
Go to the Entry: This action will lead you to the entry where the selected file located.
Save a Report: This action will save the scan reports as a txt file, and you can view more detailed information from the log.
2, How to add the items you wish to keep to the ignore list and how to delete from the Ignore list?
1) How to add the items you wish to keep to the ignore list?
Right click the item you wish to keep and then select Add to Ignore.
2) How to delete from the Ignore list?
Click Setting-> click Ignore->select the item(s) you want to delete-> click Delete. Or click Setting-> click Ignore-> right click the item you want to delete and choose Delete.
3, How to set Scan Setting?
Open Advanced Spyware Remover ->click Setting-> click Scan Setting.
Scan executable files only: This action will guide Advanced Spyware Remover only to scan the executable files. But this action will not execute if you scan with Advanced Spyware Remover from the context menu.
Skip files larger than 10MB size: Here you have a slide going from 10MB to 100MB and you can choose any of them. It is pre-set to 10MB.
Scan by normal priority: Here you can choose the priority level when performing a scan by moving the slide. It is pre-set to normal priority.
Quarantine threats when removing them: This action will allow you to quarantine threats before you remove them forever. Recommend you to select this setting.

1, Advanced System Restore found so many problems in my newly installed Windows system. Is this a joke?

2, How to scan and repair?
1) Select a module in Advanced System Restore, just click "Scan" button. Check through the details first time you run it (before clicking repair) and select the items to ignore. This will exclude them from being selected for optimization (or cleaning) while Advanced Advanced System Restore scanning in the future.
2) Just click "Care" button, which combines the functions of "Scan" and "Repair" together.
If you choose to run autocare, be sure to run scan manually once and check the details of what item is found. Right click and ignore the items you want to keep. Please note: These items will not be scanned and repaired by Automated Care function any more.
3, How to add the cookies you wish to keep to the ignore list?
Solution: Open Advanced System Restore -> click "Options" -> Choose "Ignore List" ->Choose the chookeis and move them into the right list "Cookies to Keep" -> Click "OK" and "Apply". |
